The instructional body of workers union of universities (asuu) has cautioned the joint admissions and matriculation board (jamb) to stop exploiting nigerians in its drive to remit wonderful revenues to federal authorities’s coffers.

Asuu president, professor biodun ogunyemi, who said this in an interview with the mother or father in abuja, accused jamb of profiting from exploiting nigerian college students and their terrible parents, including that the board become charging extra than what become required to conduct the examination.

Jamb had on sunday introduced that it might remit n7.8 billion to the federal government as surplus generated from the behavior of its 2018 unified tertiary matriculation examination (utme).

Cumulatively, the board has remitted over n15.6 billion to the federal government in much less than two years.

Ogunyemi said by using remitting n7.Eight billion to the federal authorities, as proceeds from utme application forms in 2018, jamb had come to be a sales-generating organization.
